Orange County isn’t acting alone when it comes to emergency preparedness. The State of California has its Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) at www.caloes.ca.gov and www.listoscalifornia.org Like ReadyOC, the state’s websites have a repository of information about disaster preparedness.
Non-profit organizations are also helping our community when it comes to disaster relief and disaster preparedness. The American Red Cross has www.preparesocal.org where you can find the tools and information you need to be prepared in an emergency.

CMAP
برنامج المساعدة المتبادلة لفرق الاستجابة للطوارئ في مقاطعة أورانج
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Mutual Aid Program (CMAP) is part of the local, state, and national Citizen Corps effort to incorporate and utilize volunteers in the community. Citizen Corps is endorsed by the President, the Department of Homeland Security, the Operational Area, and local jurisdictions. CMAP volunteers are trained in basic response techniques and mutual aid training to assist the Operational Area (OA) cities in a disaster or major emergency situation.
